Sorry for posting this so late!! Last Saturday was JB's party. Me, Tiffany and Nickolas went to Kingsport to help him celebrate. We had such a great time. Amber did a fabulous job on the cakes and decorations! She is so talented. The monkey theme was perfect for little JB. Nickolas did a great job playing with the other kids. He also helped JB open some of his presents. He even got excited about some of them and wanted to take them home. No worries, Nickolas did not get away with any of JB's toys....but oh he wanted to! JB was so cute in his Birthday Boy outfit. Thanks Adam and Amber for the invite! We had a great time!

6 Months Old
Alyssa turned 6 months old last week. She is such a joy! She is sitting up really well. She rarely falls over. She still loves it when someone is talking to her, especially her mommy!! All Tiffany has to say is, "Hi, pretty Lyssa" and Alyssa will get so excited. If Tiffany is holding her, Nickolas will pull on Alyssa until Tiffany puts her in the floor so he can talk to her and play with her. She is eating stage 1 baby food and cereal throughout the day. She has slept through the night several times, but it is not consistent yet. She weighs somewhere close to 17lbs 8oz now. She scoots backwards, so she will be crawling in no time. She loves to be held, which is different from when she was a newborn. She would want to be left alone to fall asleep, now she wants to be rocked. Personally I like this, but I know it makes it harder on her mommy! She is such a joy and we couldn't imagine life without her!

Nana is teaching Nickolas how to say "Peace!" while holding his two fingers up. He hasn't quite got it yet, but I am sure it will be soon. He loves his UT hat. Because of the hat, he can now recognize the letter "T" in any word. He is so smart. Alyssa still loves it when you talk to her!! She get so excited. If you are holding her and talking to her she will put her hand on your face. It is so cute!
