First Haircut

Nickolas finally got his first haircut!! So of course I was there to document the entire process. So here we go.....

They took him to a place in downtown Clinton on Market street.

Joe's Barber Shop

Here they are walking in.

These are before shots. I wanted to be sure to document the length of his hair before it was chopped off.

Then it started. He was fine at first.

He looks so cute!!

The barber was sure to give us the first cut of hair! We saved it of course.

Nickolas was doing just fine....until...the clippers came! Between the noise of the clippers and having to be held down...Nickolas freaked.

He cried the rest of the time. Luckily the barber was extremely patient and was able to continue even with Nickolas crying. (on a side note: Nickolas was not the only one crying....I won't name names. )

We tried to give him a sucker...but that didn't last long.

So pitiful! I just wanted to pick him up.

Wes held him the entire time.

He was so ready to be done. Poor little guy...

We even tried to sooth him with his car. That didn't work either.

Finally done! The barber tried his best to wipe Nickolas' face. With tears and teddy grahams on his face it was close to impossible.

This was the guy responsible for all that crying!! Like I said, he was very patient with Nickolas and he did a fabulous job.

When all was said and done he went straight to Tiffany and laid his head down. He finally stopped crying and she changed his shirt and wiped his face off. He was very happy to be done.

Now he looks like a big boy!!!

I wasn't quite ready for his first haircut. I didn't think he needed one...but now that it is over I believe it looks much better and was much needed. Ok, Ok, Ok...Tiffany and Wes were right. Geez.

The Happy Family.

He was ready to get out of there!!
