Well for the past couple of weeks, Nickolas has been really fussy!! He even came with a warning label this past Sunday at Nana's. Mommy and Daddy said, "Pick him up at your own risk. He WILL cry, so be prepared!!" (We took our chances) Since he got his shot on July 1st, he has been running a fever off and on. He also has not been eating good at all. So Tiffany took him to the doctor this past Tuesday. His weight had dropped slightly so they sent him for an ultrasound of his little tummy to see if something was wrong. So on Wednesday they went to Children's Hospital for the test. Tiffany said it was so cute because the ultrasound machine was so tiny. Like a mini version of a real ultrasound machine. Nickolas did great, he didn't cry much at all. Turns out, everything with his little system is just fine. So they gave him Zantac and sent them home!! That seems to be working wonderfully. Nickolas is eating very well now and even sleeping longer at night. They started giving him an ounce of cereal in his bottle at night. Throughout the day they give him baby prune juice. Tiffany said the combination of the medicine, cereal and juice has almost cured the little guy!! Yay!
