Ruthie's

We went to Ruthie's today. Nick is still a little jaundice, so he sat in the big window in Ruthie's kitchen. Tyler came with Tiffany and Wes, so he took a few pictures. I think he did a good job. :-)

Today I did Nick's 1st photo shoot!! I say "1st", because there will be so many more. He's such a good baby!! Since the day I found out he was coming, I have wanted to take his picture. I can't believe he is here!! He is like a magnet, I just can't stay away from him.

Aunt Sherry's

Today we took Nickolas to get more blood work done to check his jaundice level. Today it was up a little to 14.6. So he will be spending a lot of time by the window tomorrow!! Anyway, after the big trip to the Cheyenne Center, we went to aunt Sherry's!!! Here are a few pictures.

Long Toes

I found a new feature on my camera that lets me get really really close without being blury. So, you guys will see lots of close up pictures. I just think that you can never get to close to a baby!!!

Jaundice Update

Nickolas went back to the doctor today. His jaundice level was down to 12.6! Yay! So we don't have to keep him under the lights anymore. They said to put him in the sunlight as much as possible. So here a few pictures of just that! p.s. The nurse took the velcro off his face. Tiffany and Wes just couldn't do it!

He sits in this swing by the door. He is so little that you can't even see him from behind. It's funny.

Jaundice

We took Nickolas back to UT today for blood work to check his jaundice level. By the time we got home, the doctor had called and said to bring him straight back to the hospital, because his level was 17.7! Apparently there was a miscommunication between the nurse and the doctor, because the nurse was already on her way with this special light. He has been under this light since the moment she brought it! He looks kind of pitiful, but also very cute. I mean, look at those nifty shades. :-) He goes back to the doctor tomorrow morning. We should know something by then. Hopefully we can send the light back to the hospital!! We already miss holding him around here.

It is very warm under there. He is very content under the lights.

He always holds his hands up to his face. Tiff said he did this in her tummy. They have ultrasound pictures of him doing it. Very cute.

You know? By 2 am you kind of run out of ways to take pictures of the same cute baby under the same nifty lights. So you have to get creative.

The nurse put these velcro squares on each side of his head. His rockin shades just sticks to each side!! I am NOT going to be the one to remove them. That's for sure.
