First Birthday Pictures

Nickolas had a great first birthday. We decorated with baby sesame street. So cute!!

I made the cakes and cup cakes for his party. They were oh so tasty. :-)

He was so cute in his little birthday outfit. Tiffany and I went to the mall and monogrammed a number 1 on the front. It turned out pretty neat.

We were singing "Happy Birthday" to him here. He liked it when we clapped at the end.

He wasn't too sure about the cake. He actually didn't eat much of it at all.

He did manage to get it in his hair...but he kept his outfit spotless!

Present time!!!!! Nickolas received books, toys, clothes and even a Blues Clues DVD. He liked opening the presents, however the tissue paper he did not like. He made funny faces at it.

Somebody was tired of opening presents here....

Time to play! This ball popper toy scared him at first. He soon opened up to it. Tiffany says now at home he will push the red button then quickly sit down. Once all the balls are out and the noise stops, he will pick them all up and put them back...sometimes he will put his paci in as well. If a noise scares him he will sit down until it is over. It's too funny.

This toy makes lots of noises. It has a fridge on the other side. He likes this toy a lot!

He likes all of his toys now, but this one is his favorite! It's a "Lightning McQueen" Car from the movie, Cars. It has a music button on it, and he loves it! In this picture he is actually dancing to the music.

Here he is in one of his new outfits! It is so cute!! Thanks, Kari!

Kari's son, Daniel, LOVED this ball popper toy. He would get so excited when playing with it!

They played well together.

These pictures were taken a few weeks ago for his first birthday. Portrait Innovations did a fabulous job as always. Nickolas was a bit cranky this time. Not sure what his deal was, but we still managed to capture his cuteness yet again. He loved the balloons and wanted to play with them instead of getting his picture made with them. The last three pictures are of him sitting on a fire truck and let me just say that when we took him off for a wardrobe change he cried....loud. Now that his 3, 6, 9 and 12 month pictures are completed we will not be going back as often. As with the 9 month photo shoot, there are a million to look at...so enjoy!!!!
