Clean Baby

I watched Nickolas this past Saturday night so Tiffany and Wes could go out. He was so good, of course. :-) I gave him a bath and I tried to get a couple pictures of him. He would not look at me! All he wanted to do was play with the brush and his feet!

Playing

Nickolas was playing in his crib at my house, and he was in such a good mood. He would bounce up and down. Then he would try to rest his head on the side of the crib. Then he would bend over and try to chew on the side of the crib. Then he would start all over again!! Bounce. Rest. Chew. It was pretty cute.

8 Months Old Today

Nickolas is 8 months old today! He is doing so many new things these days. He is eating 2 jars of baby food at a time. Also, he is sleeping better at night. He is still not sleeping all night long, but he only wakes up a few times which is a big improvement! I keep asking to keep him all night, but Tiffany still says no, until he is sleeping more. She doesn't want me to miss out on any sleep! I guess they are getting enough sleep for now. :-) Nickolas is almost crawling. He will do the "army crawl" for now. That is where he scoots on his tummy to get where he needs to go. He can hold on the side of the crib or play pen and walk all the way around. Also, if you hold his hands he will walk. He is such a good baby! I have found that I can take him places, and he will be so good. I used to stay in with him, but now I can take him anywhere and he is perfect every time!! If he is standing in his crib or play pen, he can reach down with one hand and get a toy and come back up while holding on with the other hand. He still wants to chew on everything!! If you hand him a cup he knows to turn it up and "drink" out of it. Also, when he is in the bath tub he will try to put his whole face under the running water and try to get a drink. He still loves taking baths. Tiffany and Wes have wood floors in their house. So when Nickolas is in his exersaucer, he has learned how to rock back and forth so hard that he can move the exersaucer across the entire room! He stops when he gets to a wall or the couch. He is "talking" more. If you put your hand in front of his mouth and move it back and forth (like an Indian), Nickolas will start making noises and it really sounds like an Indian. ha ha That was hard to explain, but hopefully you get the idea. He's smart. He's cute. He's just awesome!! I could go on and on about that little guy, but enough is enough. I have plenty more pictures to post in the next couple of days. He was a very good model today. :-)

First time in the snow!!

I had to be very quick with these pictures today. Mr. Nickolas did not like being outside. He was doing ok at first. Then, by accident, his hand touched the snow. He did not like it one bit!! He started crying. So, I brought him in and gave him a warm bath and now he is sleeping...like a baby. I would say that Nickolas is done with the snow for now.

Hanging out with Uncle Jason and Deidra!!

Saturday night, Jason and Deidra babysat Nickolas while me, Tiffany and Wes went out. They had a great time and Nickolas couldn't stop talking about how much fun he had. Jason even had his try at changing a diaper and putting Nickel's pajama's on. He did a fabulous job. Thanks, again for watching him you two!!

Nickolas Has an Announcement!!

Nickolas asked me to write a letter to Nana, Ruthie and Grandpa. They are in Arizona and he couldn't wait for them to get back!! So here is what he had to say!

Sick, but Happy Baby!

I took Nickolas to the doctor yesterday. He has been running a slight fever and sounds congested. They said he has an ear infection. So, more antibiotics for Nickolas!! We had a long day yesterday. After his appointment, I took him with me to one of my appointments. He was so good all day long. He didn't cry at all!! When he finally got home he was in such a good mood.

In the first picture he is cracking up at Wes. It is so funny!!

He loves to stand up in his crib and bounce. He also loves to chew on everything!!

My Little Model

Nickolas was in such a good mood yesterday, so I had to break out my camera. (who am I kidding? I will break out my camera even if he isn't in a good mood) He is just so cute!! I was trying my best to get him to smile...I talked to him and that didn't help...I finally had to start making random noises...and that did it!! He is so sweet.

Sneeky

I heard a little "scratching" noise coming from Nickolas' crib. I looked and he was trying to get the stuff out of this little basket. It has lotion, soap and wipes in it. He hasn't been able to reach it until now.

First he had one hand in it, then he tried to put both hands in there and get stuff out!

I said, "Nickolas! What do you think you are doing little boy?" He stopped and looked at me as if to say, "Nothing!" Ha ha It was pretty funny.
