I went to check on Nickolas after work today. Oh my goodness, he is so pitiful!! He looks worse than he actually is. He is smiling and playing. The Doctor's said he will definately be spending the night in the hospital. He still isn't holding down pedalyte. Once he is holding that down, they will try him on formula. Then he has to be able to hold that down before he will be released. So looks like they better get comfortable, because they will be there for awhile!! He is going through diapers like crazy!! So the IV fluids are working quite nicely. The nurses are being very nice and helpfull. They love Nickolas! They take turns holding him. They love his long eyelashes and they think he is so cute!! Can you blame them?? They don't think it's fair that Nickolas got Wes's long eyelashes, when Tiffany was the one in labor! I like those nurses.....
This isn't the greatest thing for him to chew on. We have to keep taking it from him and giving him a toy instead. His little arm looks pitiful. He doesn't mind it, though. But be careful if you hold him! Man, he can hurt somebody with that thing. Luckily my glasses saved my head a few times.
He was looking at Tiffany here. He looks wiped out.
I bought him this Get Well Soon balloon. He loved it!! I first gave it too him so he could see it and he started smiling!
He loved the balloon!!! He, of course, wanted to chew on it. Then he would try to pick it up with both hands. He just couldn't get it!!
He was very sleepy here!! He would fight sleep, but you could tell he was just miserable!!
He is so tired that he wants you to hold his bottle sometimes. He is just too cute, how can we resist!! Of course we will hold his bottle for him!!
