Nick's One Month Checkup

Today was Nick's one month checkup. His mommy had been upset all morning, because she did not want to see him get a shot!! So I offered to take Nickolas to the doctor for her. Of course, I had my camera. :-) So here we go.............

Here he is!! Has no clue what he is getting ready to go through...

We sat in the "Well Room". Hopefully we will be on this side most of the time in the future.

The nurse came in and measured his head and things like that. He did not like being undressed!!

Then she weighed him. He is 10 lbs and 22 inches long!!

Then the nurse leaves the room and we wait on the Doctor. Nickolas was not happy. Look at this face!!

Just as he was getting warm in my arms, Dr. McColl comes in! She checks his heart beat and listens around.

Then she checks his mouth...

..and ears. She says everything looks great! Then she tells us the nurse will be in to give him his shot.

Then it happens!!!!

He cried a lot...then finally calms down. Look at this one little tear...pitifull.

All done!! He gets this nifty band aid and we are all set to go.

I'm sure he was the happiest to leave!!

Tiffany and Wes did come in at the very end just in time to see him get his shot. Nick was the only one crying!! So this is good. The doctor says Nickolas looks just fine and he is growing perfectly. His next appt is at the end of July. They said this is where he will get more shots. We scheduled this appointment around my work schedule, just in case Mommy can't make it. :-)
