20 hours 6 min old.

Isn't this the sweetest baby you have ever seen? Mommy and baby are doing so well!! Nickolas does not cry very much. Only when he is getting poked with needles, but wouldn't you? :-) Also, he is not all about getting his diaper changed. But when he gets bundled back up, he stops immediately!

He's Here!!!!

Nickolas Bishop Anthony Hatmaker.
He was born at 11:15pm on May 24th.
He weighed 7lbs 2.6 oz.
He was 20inches long.
Tiffany did so great. It was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed. We arrived on May the 24th at 3am at UT Hospital. 19 hours 15 min later, after 18 hours of labor and 1 hour of pushing, he entered this world. Thanks for all the prayers! They are not yet in a permanent room. Check back here for more updates!

9:20pm

Ok, they just came in and checked Tiffany. The result???? She has dilated ONE MORE CENTIMETER!!! For a total of 6 centimeters. This is considered progress in the Labor World. So, on we go. One of her neighbors here on the floor is having a C-Section, so after the doctor is done with that, she will be back to check Tiffany!! She has a little bit of a headache...she is now taking tylenol with a little bit of water, which I'm sure is refreshing after the ice chips. Jason is on his way. Deidra is texting on her cell phone. Wes is sitting close to Tiffany. Mom is taking everybody's temperature with this nifty device that you run across your four head. Tiff's temp is a 99.6, which is normal for this stage of labor. I am still patiently waiting for Nick's arrival. We should know something more in a couple more hours.

7:23pm...

Well......Tiffany is now 5 centimeters!! This is not much progress...but alas, it is progress. So, no talk of C-Section at this time. They will be back in 2 hours to check her again. Same as last time...if there is progress..we will keep on keeping on. If no progress, then we will talk C-Section. Tiffany is a real trooper!!! She has decided that she is over ice chips and wants the doughnuts she saw mom sneek in. Sorry Tiff! :-( Deidra is now playing the game boy. Wes and his mother, Glenda, are out getting a bite to eat. Mom is reading a magazine, and offering her yummy doughnuts to Deidra and I. Sorry again, Tiff. I am patiently awaiting Nick's arrival.
