Little Monkey

Nickolas spit up on the 10th outfit for the day so Tiffany put this on him. Deidra got it for him a long time ago. He has some room to grow, but we thought it was so cute!!

Rolling over already???

Yay!! Last week when Tiffany came home from the doctor she layed Nickolas down on his play mat. The doctor said to lay him down on his tummy for about 5 min at a time, a couple of times a day, so his head and shoulders can get stronger. She said almost as soon as she layed him down he rolled from his tummy to his back!!! So at Nana's yesterday we had to test it out. We believed her, but we had to see for ourselves!! and....its true. He can do it.

We layed him on his tummy.....he wiggled and wiggled until finally.......

...he rolled over!!! It was so neat to see. He's not rolling from back to tummy yet, but I'm sure that's in the near future.

Play time at Nana's

Yesterday we actually layed Nickolas down on the floor!! It's true. Deidra talked to him and he just looked and looked at her. It was so sweet. He loved it.

July 4th Photo Shoot

Nickolas slept the whole time!!! I tried to wake him up, but no luck.

July 4th

This was Nick's first official Holiday! I have lots more pictures, I will post later. He had a pretty good day. He went to Ruthie's pool for about an hour. Then Deidra took him to her mom's house for a get together. Then to Lake City to show him off to Mommy and Daddy's friends. Everybody couldn't get over how cute he was!! They all said he looked just like his daddy. He slept the entire time in Lake City. Then they left Lake City and went to Clinton for the big fireworks show.

Nick's One Month Checkup

Today was Nick's one month checkup. His mommy had been upset all morning, because she did not want to see him get a shot!! So I offered to take Nickolas to the doctor for her. Of course, I had my camera. :-) So here we go.............

Here he is!! Has no clue what he is getting ready to go through...

We sat in the "Well Room". Hopefully we will be on this side most of the time in the future.

The nurse came in and measured his head and things like that. He did not like being undressed!!

Then she weighed him. He is 10 lbs and 22 inches long!!

Then the nurse leaves the room and we wait on the Doctor. Nickolas was not happy. Look at this face!!

Just as he was getting warm in my arms, Dr. McColl comes in! She checks his heart beat and listens around.

Then she checks his mouth...

..and ears. She says everything looks great! Then she tells us the nurse will be in to give him his shot.

Then it happens!!!!

He cried a lot...then finally calms down. Look at this one little tear...pitifull.

All done!! He gets this nifty band aid and we are all set to go.

I'm sure he was the happiest to leave!!

Tiffany and Wes did come in at the very end just in time to see him get his shot. Nick was the only one crying!! So this is good. The doctor says Nickolas looks just fine and he is growing perfectly. His next appt is at the end of July. They said this is where he will get more shots. We scheduled this appointment around my work schedule, just in case Mommy can't make it. :-)
