Sleepy Baby

We had dinner last night at mom's. Very good, by the way. Nickolas was so cute. After he eats, he usually falls right to sleep. He is so cuddly and cute. So when they were leaving last night, we had to get just a few more pictures. So we layed him down on the couch. It is so neat to watch him wake up. He will stretch and coo and yawn. I thought this was the best picture.

Fly In at Grandpa's

Today was the fly in at Grandpa's house. It was so so so so very hot. Nickolas did great! He was passed around a lot. Everybody couldn't get over how little he was! Here are a few pictures from today.

Grandpa loves holding him!! He always says, "Bring him to me." Then when he gets done holding him he says, "Ok, now you let that baby rest. Don't be passing him around." Riiight. Sure we will. :-)

Here are a few planes that came in. There were so many more. I didn't get many pictures of that. Nickolas was there...I couldn't break away. :-)

First outing without Mommy and Daddy

After 13 days of begging, they finally let me keep him by myself. Tiffany and Wes went out for a few hours tonight. So I kept him at my house. A couple of my friends stopped by to meet him. We had a great time! Here are a few pictures from tonight.

This is my friends little girl, Hannah. She wanted to hold him and feed him. She "felt" his diaper and said, "Nope! It's not wet!" She is so sweet.

Mom came over for a little while. She gave him a bath in my sink! He might have actually fell asleep for a few min in there.

Then she dressed him. "The Prince has arrived."

Then when mom left, I changed him!!

Ok, Ok, Ok. This was the last time I changed him. I saved the best for last.

After all the dressing up we did, I'm sure he was so happy to go home...

..but not as happy as his mommy!!!! I watched him for a total of 5 hours. Tiffany and Wes called 3 times and actually stopped by once during this time. They missed him. They did a lot better than I thought they would do! Haha.

So Cute!

I went to see Nickolas before work today. Tiff said I could pick out his outfit for the day. There were so many cute things! I bought him this shirt a couple of months ago. Of course it is 10x too big. But how cute is it?? It says, "I want to Rock". I love these pictures! Makes me laugh. Oh, Tiffany took him back to the doctor yesterday for a check up. His weight is 7lbs 2 oz. Just like the day he was born! Everybody is doing great!

Sniff, Sniff, Tear, Tear

Well, today I went back to work. I didn't get to see Nickolas all day. :-( How sad. I have been off work since the day he was born. When I told him I would be going back to work today, this is what he did. Seriously.

Today we had a get together at mom's. I had made a cake last night, and was having trouble figuring out what to write on it. I asked Brother Jason. He suggested, "Welcome to Earth". So, there ya have it. Here are a few pictures from today.

Tiffany and Wes stayed at home all day yesterday! So, no exciting news here. Nick is still a little jaundice, so they kept him in the sun most of the day. I went over late last night to say hi. (I couldn't miss a day without seeing Nickolas) I did not take a single picture last night. BUT, I do have one from the other day. I just love this picture. It looks like Nick is looking right at me!
